DeFAIHederaTypeScript

Third-highest contributor on a 66★ protocol now doing roughly $30K ARR. 15 merged commits building the plugins that connect AI agents to real DeFi venues.

The project

Edwin is an AI-powered DeFi aggregator — the layer that lets autonomous agents actually transact across protocols rather than just read about them. Its tagline, "empowering AI agents to dominate DeFAI," is the honest description: agents need typed, reliable adapters to each venue, and that's what the plugin layer is.

What I built

Three protocol integrations, principally on Hedera:

  • SaucerSwap — token swap methods, HBAR→token multicall routing, slippage handling, raised gas limits for complex multicalls, and extended swap deadlines
  • Bonzo Finance — lending integration with token validation, credential checks and hardened error handling
  • Stader — staking plugin integration

Plus the integration test suites for each, including the timeout and error-path coverage that keeps agent-driven transactions from failing silently.

Why it mattered

Agent-executed DeFi fails on edge cases, not happy paths — a swap that reverts on slippage, a multicall that runs out of gas, a credential that silently expires. Most of the work above is error handling and transaction observability, because that's what separates a demo from something a protocol can charge for.
