Won an international hackathon, built onsite. A crypto take on Deal or No Deal where the hard problem isn't the game — it's proving each player is a distinct human.

The problem

Any on-chain game with a prize pool invites Sybil attacks: one person spins up fifty wallets, plays fifty times, and skews every probability the game depends on. Conventional fixes — KYC, deposits, invite codes — either leak identity or price people out.

The approach

World ID supplies proof-of-personhood without identity. A player proves they're a unique human via zero-knowledge proof; the contract records the nullifier hash, not the person. One human, one account, and nobody learns who anybody is.

  • Zero-knowledge proof-of-personhood gating entry
  • Nullifier-based replay protection at the contract layer
  • Game state and payouts settled on-chain

What it demonstrates

Sybil resistance is the quiet prerequisite under most crypto consumer products — airdrops, quadratic funding, governance, games. Solving it with ZK proofs instead of identity collection is the difference between a product people will use and one they won't.
